I see the tools and the philosophy behind the tools working together to support teaching and learning in a pre-service class. The "samples" allow my students the ability to evaluate the samples using criteria from class discussions and the thinking tools training, and give them examples to follow as they create their own units.
I see all of the tools aiding in incorporating technology within lesson planning and as teaching resources. With Social Studies, History in particular, a great deal of cause and effect discussions can use "showing evidence" and "seeing reason" as catalysts.

ReplyDeleteI see our students using the Thinking Tools in their own lesson plans. I also see us modeling these tools for them.
